Ryan Spencer-Jones

Former Welsh International Champion and British Championships and Commonwealth Games finalist, Ryan Spencer-Jones, has been coaching Aled since September 2014. Ryan’s knowledge of the sport is second to none and his experience as an elite athlete has helped him develop into one the UK’s most exciting young coaches. As well as devising, implementing and managing Aled’s training regime and competition schedule, Ryan also creates and leads his Strength and Conditioning programme.

Physiotherapist

Sian Knott

The Lead Physiotherapist at Sport Wales, Sian has been using her healing hands on some of Wales’ most successful athletes and stars of the future since 2007.

With physiotherapy roles for the Wales’ Rugby 7s squad and Team Wales at three Commonwealth Games, Sian has a wealth of experience working with elite sports professionals at the top of their game.

Soft Tissue Therapist

Dave Rowe

After suffering a serious injury playing rugby, Dave Rowe, developed an interest in sports medicine and rehabilitation in the hope that a hole left by a premature end to his sporting career could be filled by working to help other sportsmen and women.

Dave qualified with a RSA diploma in Sports Massage Therapy in 1994 and is now employed as Sport Wales Institute’s Senior Soft Tissue Therapist; delivering and co-ordinating sports massage provision at the Institute and throughout Wales.
